Big Game Fishing in the Galapagos?

Striped Marlin coralling a school of sardines in the Galapagos Islands

You better believe it! Tesoro Galapagos offers year-round deep sea fishing for Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Mahi Mahi. Our Galapagos Fishing Charters are tailor-made sport fishing tours designed for friends, families and organizations. We have the gear and local fishing knowledge to provide you with an unforgettable Galapagos fishing adventure.

From December to June we pull out the heavy tackle to chase Blue Marlin. The waters of the Galapagos Islands are reputed for Big Blue Marlin action and we know when and where to find it. The coveted Blue Marlin steep drops off of Isabela Island are less than 30 minutes from your waterfront accommodations and additional seamounts are just over an hour farther to sea. If you’re looking for the adrenaline and excitement of big Blue Marlin fishing, Tesoro Galapagos is the only fishing operator in the islands to repeatedly catch & release 600+ pound Blues. Come out with us to be one of the first to land a grander!

We can also drop lines for Galapagos Grouper and Snapper if you want to try a bit of bottom fishing. We gear up with light & heavy tackle, popping, jigging and trolling then switch bait to fly fishing, spinners or trolling with 30lb reels.

If you have non-fishing members in your group we can arrange day excursions or multi-day itineraries that include our Galapagos Sea Safaris, for some snorkeling, wildlife spotting and beach combing, as well as land-based activities. We are now officially registered with the Galapagos National Park to operate yacht support for cruise ships. Click here for Yacht support information.

We are based in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz right in the middle of the Galapagos islands. We can hit spots from Puerto Ayora, Isabela or San Cristobal depending on where the action is.

Contact us directly and we will help develop the ideal Galapagos fishing experience based on your interests and goals.
