Santa Fe Island Tour

A Sea Lions’ Kingdom

Swim with sea lions

Tour Description

Our Santa Fe Island Tour is the ultimate destination to see Galapagos Sea Lions and a prime opportunity to swim with these amazing animals. Young sea lions are very friendly and they love to imitate swimmers. Often they play and do tricks under the water and they offer a very unique wildlife experience.

To begin this tour we depart from the main pier in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz. The navigation is approximately 50 minutes, beginning with an optional 40 minutes tropping capture and a taste of the freshest sashimi. It will be followed by snorkeling with sea lions and free diving. Our Naturalist & Marine Reserve guide will lead the group in a playful experience with sea lions. Back on board the crew will wait with a fresh towels, hot chocolate, tea or coffee.

After snorkeling, lunch will be your own catch on board the Tesoro. You can enjoy your catch grilled or raw. Departing, we will pass along the cliffs of Santa Fe, looking for Blue Footed Boobies and Frigate Birds. It will take approximately 25 minutes to get to Playa Escondida; where mangroves, and beautiful white sand beach and the famous Galapagos Marine Iguanas will welcome you. This will be the time to relax on the beach before your return in the late afternoon.
